One World team mates created a fire safety plan for their Spanish school in Boquete as a way to say thanks for such a great experience. The plan included installing a 5lb ABC fire extinguisher and smoke alarms in the house and office. Nice work and a great legacy, gentlemen.
Our One World recipients have totally embraced all that Panama has to offer – from learning how to best approach a grassland fire, to salsa lessons, to acquiring new language skills and enjoying newfound friendship.
Welcome to Panama, Cpt. Bill Eggers and FF Jenn Dawkins!
Safe travels to the El Salvador and Colombia teams who are heading out tomorrow! This will be FRITA’s inaugural deployment in Colombia. Buena suerte, Bomberos!
Since arriving in Boquete, we have been going non-stop! Morning PT (work outs), volcanic hikes, Spanish classes, dance lessons, fire hall visits including observing a wild land fire with the on duty crew!!
